By accessing or using the Service, including registering an account, creating or downloading a CV/resume, or generating a public profile, you signify that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions and our separate Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Account Registration and Responsibilities

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to register and use the Service.

2.2 Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your password or account.

2.3 Accuracy of Information

You agree that all information you provide during registration and in your CV/resume is true, accurate, current, and complete.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

3.1 Service Provider IP

The Service, its original content, features, functionality, design, algorithms, templates, and all related intellectual property are and will remain the exclusive property of myCV.developers.today. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service or our templates without our express written permission.

3.2 User-Generated Content (UGC)

  • Ownership: You retain all ownership rights to the personal data, text, and graphics you upload or enter into the Service to create your CV/resume (User-Generated Content).
  • Limited License: By submitting UGC, you grant the Service Provider a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license only to use, host, store, copy, and display the UGC for the sole purpose of providing and operating the Service (e.g., generating, displaying, and allowing you to download your documents).

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful, abusive, or unauthorized purpose, including, but not limited to:

  1. Uploading, posting, or transmitting content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or harmful.
  2. Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems or the accounts of other users.
  3. Using automated scripts or bots to collect information from or interact with the Service (scraping).
  4. Using the Service to send unsolicited bulk communications (spam).

5. Public Profile Feature

  • Opt-In Requirement: The public CV profile feature is closed by default. Your information will only be made public if you actively and explicitly enable the feature via your user dashboard.
  • Scope of Disclosure: By activating this feature, you understand and agree that the CV content you designate will be accessible to anyone with the unique link, including potential employers, and we are not responsible for how third parties use that link or the information contained therein.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

6.1 Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

6.2 Limitation of Liability for Damages and Data Loss

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE PROVIDER (INCLUDING ITS ADMINISTRATORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS) SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • (a) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE;
  • (b) ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR UGC, INCLUDING UNAUTHORIZED DISCLOSURE OR LOSS OF YOUR DATA (E.G., DUE TO HACKING, DATA BREACHES, OR TECHNICAL FAILURES);
  • (c) THE DELETION OF, CORRUPTION OF, OR FAILURE TO STORE ANY UGC OR OTHER COMMUNICATIONS MAINTAINED OR TRANSMITTED BY THE SERVICE;
  • (d) YOUR RELIANCE ON ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE.

THE SERVICE PROVIDER, THE WEBSITE, AND ITS ADMINISTRATORS ASSUME NO LIABILITY FOR ANY DIRECT OR INDIRECT DAMAGES.

7. Termination

We reserve the right, without notice and at our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Service if you violate these T&C. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.
